Two pirates, Jim and Davy, were talking about their experiences. Davy was missing an eye and
a leg. He also had a hook for a hand.
Jim questioned Davy about his leg. “I lost it in a shark attack,” he said. Then Jim asked about
Davy’s hand. “I lost that in a fight,” said Davy.
Finally, Jim asked Davy about his eye. “A bird pooped in it,” he said. “How did that make you
lose your eye?” Jim asked. With a bitter smile, Davy answered, “It happened right after I got the
