【評論內容】Somatostatin是體抑素，為肽類激素，在下視丘/胃/腸/腸/胰臟當神經傳導物質可以抑制腦垂體分泌生長激素GH、泌乳激素，也抑制一些胃腸道激素的分泌(胃泌素和腸抑胃泌素之類的)因為抑制GH所以可以治療肢端肥大症
