       Today is my first day in Taiwan. Daren’s family are very nice to me. They planned to take me to an expensive American restaurant for dinner, but I told them I wanted to try something different at the night market. I also bought some gifts there for my family.

       We went to a small town and saw many Black-faced Spoonbills there. Daren knows a lot about them. He said, “They fly to Taiwan in October to spend winter here.” They were really special animals.

       We spend all the day in Kenting. The weather was nice. We went swimming at the beach. Some people came here to go sailing or surfing. We enjoyed playing at the beach. I’ll visit here again with my family someday. Tomorrow we’re going to Tainan, and I can’t wait to try its famous snacks.
