     Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004when he was a student at Harvard University. Mark was bornin 1984 and he showed his talent for computer science at anearly age. By the time he was a high school student,Microsoft even offered him a job because he wrote anexcellent music program. However, he turned down the job.In the first 24 hours when he set up Facebook, 1200 otherHarvard students signed up and six momths later, half of thestudents at Harvard were on it. Today, there are at least 1.65billion people on Facebook, or 22% of the world populationin 75 languages. These numbers show us just how popularFacebook is and the numbers above continue to grow.
     Without a doubt, Mark has brought the world closertogether with Facebook. Some people start to think we arespending too much time on Facebook that we forget how totalk to people in real life. Although it’s fun to use Facebbok,don’t forget about the real world and people around you!
