On October 15, 2008, the founder(創辦人) of the Formosa Plastics Group(台塑集團), Wang Yungching, died inhis sleep. The business giant, who lived to the age of 92, had built a very successful industry(工業) group in Taiwan.    Wang was born in a poor family. His father was a tea farmer. After Wang graduated from elementary school atthe age of 15, he left home and worked in a rice store. The next year, he started his own rice store with NT$200 whichhis father borrowed for him. In 1954, he founded(創立) Formosa Plastics Corporation(台塑公司). From then on, heplayed an important role(角色) in the development(發展) of Taiwan’s industry for more than fifty years.   Wang, who was called the “God of Management(經營),” always believed that hard work makes everythingpossible. He never gave up even when he met difficulties(困難). He once said, “Nothing is impossible in the world, andnothing is easy.” Also, he lived a simple and healthy life. He seldom spent money on things he didn’t really need. Andevery morning, he got up early and went jogging.
