問題詳情

41~42
On June 12th, 2005, Steve Jobs, who never graduated from college, gave a speech to the graduates of Stanford University. In his speech, Jobs told the students, “You have to find what you love.” He said that he was lucky to find what he loved to do early in life. He shared with the students how he started his business in the garage when he was only 20, how his small business grew into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees in 10 years, and how he got fired from the company he started. After getting fired, he didn’t know what to do for a few months. But he then decided to start over because he really loved what he did. Being an engineer again, Jobs entered one of the most creative periods of his life. He did a great job again and was even invited to return to Apple. Jobs said the only thing that kept him going was that he loved what he did, so “You have to find what you love.” Since work is going to fill a large part of life, it is important to love what you do, so that you can be truly happy with what you do. He encouraged the students, “If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. Keep looking until you find it.”
