Last week Mike found a dog which fell into a river. Mike saved him and took him home. He is brown with three legs. Mike gave him the name Hope. Although Hope lost one leg, Mike’s family still love him very much and take good care of him. Hope is very energetic and likes to be with people. Every time Mike brings his friends home, Hope will always follow his friends around. He is not afraid of strangers at all. Although Hope has three legs, he can run as fast as other dogs. Hope often lies quietly next to Mike when he does his homework in his room. Hope always sits on the sofa waiting for Mike to come home from school.    Mike’s family are always busy, and it is not easy for them to get together. But since they had Hope, they have tried to spend time together playing with their three-legged boy, who has become the  core  of their family life.
