Do you like basketball? Do you love the NBA games or any star players? Are you crazy about the player, Jeremy Lin? How much do you know about basketball?   It was a cold winter day in 1891, and the students liked to stay indoors. A teacher, James Naismith, wanted his students to exercise in the gym during the winter. When his students got to the gym, he was nailing a basket on the wall. After that, he  divided  the students into two teams and taught them the rules for the game. The students ran up and down in the gym, and they threw the soccer ball into the basket. The game was so interesting, and every student enjoyed it very much. Now, basketball is very popular with students.
