(D)Car Free Day takes place every September 22. It is an international event that encourageseco-friendly travel. Instead of driving alone in their cars, people are asked to get around by using greenways of transport.       One way Taiwan celebrates Car Free Day is with Green Connections. This activity allows people towrite in about their green ways of choice. It can be anything from taking the bus or MRT to bicycling andwalking. In fact, carpooling and working from home count, too. All these ways are lighter on our walletsand the environment than driving alone. Everyone is welcome to join Green Connections and share howthey celebrate Car Free Day online. Anyone who does has a chance to win some great prizes.       If you are already car free, then you are helping to make the air cleaner and traffic better. The nextstep is to get more people to do the same. That way, we can make Car Free Day an even bigger success!
