At the end of 2006, Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) finally started to run. In 1998, five companies  2  to build the THSR together.  3  the dream come true, four thousand specialists from 23 countries worked day and night. They  4  more than ten hours on this difficult work every day for years. Now, it takes less than 100 minutes to travel from Taipei to Kaohsiung. The THSR makes not only the life of the people in Taiwan more convenient but the cities around it more prospering.
