問題詳情
Pay It Forward is a film about a schoolboy’s plan to change the world. His plan is to do something nice for three people, and the three people who receive his kindness have to do something good for another three people, and so on.
The film was based on a book by Catherine Hyde. After the film was made, she started the Pay It Forward Foundation (基金會) in late 2000. Like the plan in the film and her book, the foundation tries to make students know that they can change the world, and it gives them chances to do so. To meet this goal, the foundation works with schools to start their own Pay It Forward programs. For example, the foundation’s website gives ideas that teachers can use to help their students do something good and kind. The foundation also offers money to schools to help them pay for their Pay It Forward projects (計畫). Also, people can buy Pay It Forward wristbands (手環) from the website to promote (推廣) doing kind things for others.
The Pay It Forward Foundation believes that by doing something good to others, everyone can make the world better. In the future, the foundation will not only continue to promote its ideas to children in schools but also encourage more people to start doing kind acts.
