Many people died because they did not have enough food or warm clothes.But their hard work touched the Indians’ heart. So the Indians came and helped them. The next year, they had a lot of food. They knew they might be dead without the Indians’ help, sothey invited the Indians to celebrate the great harvest with a big dinner.
 Now, Thanksgiving is on the fourth Thursday of November. People usually get together and have a big dinner to show their thanks.
