A-Mei to Record Duet with Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli
        Taiwanese pop diva A-mei will record a duet called "If Only" with Italian tenor singer Andrea Bocelli. The duetwill feature on Bocelli's new album.
        Bocelli, who has been blind since the age of 12, is releasing the new album to celebrate his 60th birthday. The newalbum is set to be released on October 26, however, "If Only" will be available on digital music services in September,before the official launch.
        Bocelli's popular recordings include the two famous hit duets, "Time To Say Goodbye" with Sarah Brightman and"The Prayer" with Celine Dion.
        Bocelli's music production team contacted A-mei's music production company to invite A-mei to sing the duet afterhearing her music online. In a letter to her, Bocelli's music producer said A-mei's singing voice is perfect and that theirvoices would go together and support each other well.
        "If Only" will be recorded in three languages: Italian, English, and Mandarin Chinese, so A-mei spent a monthlearning Italian and the proper pronunciation of the lyrics to make her performance as good as possible.
         The Taiwanese pop singer was also invited to sing the world debut of "If Only" with the Italian singer during thecelebrity concert Celebrity Fight Night, which was held on September 6 in Italy.
