         Lots of people think dogs only can see in blackand white. But it is not true. Lately scientistsdiscovered dogs do see colors just not quite the samecolors that we do.
         When people see a rainbow, they see red, orange,yellow, green, blue, blue-green, and purple. But whendogs see a rainbow, they see yellow-brown, yellow,yellow-brown, gray, blue and gray. Can you imagine?
         Dogs see red and green as a single color(yellow-brown) and also blue-green and purple as a singlecolor(gray). That means if you buy your dog a brightred toy, it will see is as an ugly yellowish brown.
         Do you know why? A human eye has threedifferent kinds of cells that can detect colors；however, dogs’ eyes have only two. This makes thempick up limited range of colors.
