         About one hundred years ago, men had to make money for their families, and women had to stay at home to take care of their children and do the housework. However, things have changed over time. Women can now decide to have a job or stay at home to be housewives. Also, the man and the woman can share the housework if both of them have to work. Women can have “maternity leave” after giving birth to children and they still have their jobs when  they return to work.         Today, many men quit their jobs and stay at home to look after their children, and their wives go out to make money for the family. Some people think the men are lazy and bad to their wives because they don’t work.However, I think it will become even more common for men to stay at home in the future.
