問題詳情

Dear Aggie,My daughter and I used to be close. She would tell me everything about her feelingsand her day at school. However, something changed, and she is not herself anymore. Sheappears to be hiding things from me. Take the other night for example. Something wasreally wrong because I heard crying coming from her room. I didn’t see her crying myself, but I saw her face when she came out. Her eyes were all red and puffy, and her nose wasas big as a tomato. When I asked her about it, she just smiled and went into thebathroom. I can’t rest at night because of this. What should I do?                                                                                                                                                                      Worried MomDear Worried Mom,  Things aren’t always that bad. We often make them more serious in our heads, but inreal life, they are nothing to worry about. Also, your daughter is growing up and needsmore space than before. She has to learn to do things by herself, so let her. It will behard to watch her doing that, but when she really needs you, she will come to you. You’redoing a great job, so take it easy on yourself.                                                                                                                                                                                     Aggie
