     The Taiwan HSR (High Speed Rail) began to be built in 1996. Now it has been finished. Itruns about 345km from Taipei to Kaohsiung. It will pass 14 major cities and countries,including Taipei, Banciao, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Thaichung, Chiayi, Tainan, and so on. Thebusiness time is from 6 a.m (the first train). to 12 a.m. (the last train).
     From Taipei to Kaohsiung, the nonstop train is about 80 minutes. We can buy tickets on theInternet, from the ticket vending machine, or at the ticket window. We can pay with cash,credit cards or ATM cards. There are 989 seats in the Taiwan HSR. It can run 300km/hr. Thelength of the train is 304 M.
      The Taiwan HSR makes our lives more convenient and better now. Lots of people can’t waitto try it.
