       Last year, our class decided to put on a play for Thanksgiving. The first thing we needed to do is to write the play. We didn’t write a play before, but it was fun to try. Our play was about a turkey named Terry. He was big and fat, and he lived on the farm with his friends. His friends helped him out when Terry was in trouble. After we finished writing the play, we had to choose the actors. Bill, the chubbiest boy in class, played Terry. I was Gary the Goat. Lisa was Carla the Cat, and Tommy was Duncan the Duck. We were all Terry’s good friends. But we had one big problem at that time. It was that no one wanted to play the farmer. The farmer was the bad guy who tried to cook Terry for Thanksgiving dinner. Then, our teacher Mr. Wallace said he could play the farmer. However, he asked us not to hit him too hard during the play when the animals tried to protect Terry. Finally, our play was a success, and of course, Mr. Wallace wasn’t hurt and happy at the end.
