問題詳情

(46-48)
One stormy winter night, a farmer saw that another farmer’s goats were on his farm. He was quite excited. “If these new goats stay here, I could sell them in the spring,” he thought.
The farmer made sure that the new goats were comfortable. He let them stay in the warm barn and gave them fresh grass to eat.
At the same time, he showed nothing to his old goats. He left them out in the strong wind and gave them almost no food. They were cold and hungry all night long.
The next morning, the storm was over and the sun was shining. When the farmer opened the barn doors, the goats ran out as quickly as they could. “How can you leave?” shouted the farmer angrily.
“I was kind to all of you!”
“Yes,” said one of the goats, “but you skipped your own goats at a stormy night. We think that one day you would forget us, too.” Then they never came back again.stormy 暴風雨的 barn 穀倉
