    Dean Kamen, anAmerican inventor, illustrates this point nicely. __32__ Kamen saw a need andstarted to consider the problem. It took Kamen and his team years to find theanswer. __33__ By allowing the wheelchair to get around more easily, the iBOThas changed many disabled people’s way of life. He then invented the Segway, akind of modern electric scooter which people stand on. __34__ It took years forinvestors to understand that the Segway was a great idea, and more than adecade to produce it.

    Great ideas can give birth towonderful inventions. __35__ You also need a lot of “blood, sweat, and tears.”
