【評論內容】若IV bolus paclitaxel可能因劑量過大造成 neutropenia或不常見的過敏性反應及嚴重的過敏反應其特徵為需要治療之呼吸困難及低血壓、血管性水腫及全身性蕁麻疹。極少數患者即使在化學治療前已接受預防用藥仍然出現致命的反應。接受 TAXOL 的患者於開始輸注 TAXOL 之後,應該繼續接受觀察至少 30 分鐘,此後也要密切觀察。如果發生嚴重的過敏反應,應該立即停止 TAXOL 輸注,並適當的治療過敏性反應。患者以後不可再嘗試使用 TAXOL。輕微的症狀如潮紅、皮膚反應等,無需中止治療TAXOL 應先稀釋過再由靜脈輸注給藥。患者接受TAXOL之前,必須預先給予皮 質類固醇、抗組織胺和H2拮抗劑 (例如dexamethasone、promethazine及 cimetidine 或 ranitidine)Only paclitaxel has been studied on an infusion schedule and the standard bolus schedule is either a three hour or 24-hour infusion.
