       The Spanish (西班牙的) festivals of San Fermin are celebrated in Pamplona, in the region (地區) of Navarra, every year from the 6th to the 14th of July. They have become internationally known because of the running of the bulls (公牛), where the bulls are lead through the streets of the old quarter (區域) of the city as far as the bullring (鬥牛場) by runners. The festivals are celebrated in honor of (紀念) San Fermin, patron saint (守護神) of Navarra. However, the festivals are seen as a gathering of people from everywhere of the world for those wonderful parties and the fun.
        The Encierro, or the running of the bulls, is the most exciting event of the festivals and has become a spectacle (奇觀) that would be unimaginable in any other place in the world. It was born from need: getting the bulls from outside the city into the bullring.
       The Encierro is from July 7th to 14th and starts at the corral (畜欄) in Calle Santo Domingo when the clock on the church of San Cernin strikes eight o’clock in the morning. After the launching (發射) of two rockets (火箭), the bulls charge (衝刺) behind the runners for 825 meters, and that is the distance (距離) between the corral and the bullring. The run usually lasts between three and four minutes although it has sometimes taken over ten minutes, if one of the bulls has been separated from the others. The third rocket will be fired from the bullring, and it signals (發出信號) that all the bulls have entered the bullring. A fourth and final (最終的) rocket means that all the bulls are safely in the corral inside the bullring and that the bull run has ended. Because the bull run is somehow dangerous, there are some rules must be followed below:
-People under 18 years of age must not run or participate (參與) in the bull run.
-Do not stand in the places along the route that have been prohibited (禁止) by the police.
-Before the bulls are released, do not wait in the corners or in entrances (入口) to the buildings along the route.
-It is dangerous to be in the bull run while drunk (酒醉的) or under the effects (效果) of any drugs (藥物).-Do not carry anything that are unsuitable (不適合的) for the run
-Do not wear inappropriate (不適當的) clothes or shoes for the run.
-Do not try to attract the bulls’ attention (注意力) in any manner(方式), or for whatever reason, in the bull run or in the bullrings along the route.
-Do not run backwards towards the bulls or running behind them.
-Holding, harassing (騷擾) or stopping the bulls from moving are forbidden (禁止).
-Taking photos inside the bull run is not allowed.
-Do not take any other action that could hamper (阻礙) the bull run taking place normally (正常地).
